You know those episodes. You don't touch a pad for a week and then put out a slew of crap.
I blame Earthen Ring for this lot.
In other news, I still have no idea how to use Photoshop. On the positive side, I can use it to make gradients like in Shiryou's T5 dress over there. On the negative side, the select tool still insists on bacon when I try and get it to do anything.
The good news is, that I finally have my claws on Photoshop!
The bad news is that I have never seen such an obtuse and confusing piece of software in my life!
There I am trying to select a similiar range of colours, just as I do on PSP when I'm trying to clean up and prepare lineart, and all Photoshop seems able to do is sit there and smile and tell me I have selected bacon.
<.<;;
I guess it'll be cleaning up lineart on PSP and colouring in PS until I figure this crap out.
My art seems to have taken a dramatic step forward with the discovery of dip nip pens and India Ink! After wondering why every single one of my art books recommended these, I eventually caved in from my usual technical pens and got me a small pot and some nibs.
The results, as far as I am concerned, are spectacular. The only stuff I can show you on that at the moment are the comic pages you'll find in scraps, but believe me it's such a difference. It requires a lot of concentration to get the ink where I want to go, however. Which is probably only a good thing in the long run.
Speaking of concentration and the not-joys of India Ink, Blizzard are running some great Warcraft art contest, and I decided well hell, why not have a go. The sketch of that is also in the scraps...and it's about 3/4 of the way inked at this stage. At this point in time however my hand is starting to shake, the nibs are getting cluttered with paper fiber and I've had to take too much white paint to it, so it's time for a break.
My car failed its MOT.
I lost out on a long term job.
My mother's uncle died.
The brother of my best friend lost a friend to leukaemia (aged 13)
A fellow player of WoW lost his/her parents in a plane crash.
...I hereby declare Monday 24th of April null and void, and demand a refund.

A girl stood on a bridge one night,
Her lips were quite a-quiver,
She gave a cough, her head fell off
And floated down the river.
Although i must say i find Shiryou must more frightening in-game with his new Felheart Shoulders ;D
Nice works here Shir, didn't know you were such an artist
